I hate that the proportions are off, but they hit my arch at the perfect spot, so no misses there. my big toe almost hangs off, and there's about 3/4 inch too much shoe behind my ankle. She's a fancy shoe wearing friend, but she complimented these sandals right away! I'm a 12, and the only downside is, it's a smaller 12. Another aspect in which they differ is the price, as the Z/Cloud is slightly more expensive than the Z/Volv 2. The Z Cloud is a little more massive, but you can get it in medium and wide widths. Comfortable out of the box, softer sole, very flexible sole as opposed to the clunkier style I'm used to, and easier adjustable straps with a better buckle! My first time wearing them, I met a friend for lunch. The Z/Volv 2 is slightly lighter but only available in medium width. Streamlined, classier, and only 9 ounces?! It's true, they're great. The Chaco Z/Volv 2 is one of the most dependable sandals in our lineup, consistently finishing among the top performers in every single test metric. Enter these! I liked them from the first moment I saw them. It takes awhile to ease back into them! And, the buckle is bulky when I sit on the floor with my kids. The first time my husband and then 18 month old picked them up, they both commented on the weight! They have nubby soles which uncomfortably rub my feet after being pampered in socks most of the winter. The sole material is rigid and heavy but provides excellent support for long walks.
